 
Welcome to Goochland Youth Athletic Association Softball. G.Y.A.A is currently affiliated with Dixie Softball Inc. and follows all rules pertaining to this league. We serve Goochland ladies 6-18 years old in a fun recreational league. I believe we have a wonderful volunteer coaching staff dedicated to assisting each child with athletic growth, development and FUNdamental skills to achieve their highest potential. We highly encourage only positive sportsmanship from our volunteers, girls’ and parents. Come join our FUN! We look forward to seeing you on the field.

*Softball will not hold an assessment day this year. All girls from each age group will practice together for a couple of weeks and then teams will be drafted.
Darlings: 7-8 years old
Angels: 9-10 years old
Ponytails: 11-12 years old
Belles: 13-15 years old
Debs: 16-18 years old

Practices will begin the last week of February.
Games will start the week of March 26.
The Virginia State Tournaments for Darlings, Angels and Ponytails will begin on July 13, 2012.
